Seems I'm out of luck once again....it's been a loong time since my last post, 'cause my host's server's running out of money and stability....when I get back home, I'll try to backup my database and migrate somewhere better....
Vacation is ending, anyway, so I'm slowly starting to study once again.
Did you upgrade to Pidgin 2.5.0?? Now msnp15 is official, and they actually announced audio and video might be next, thanks to Google's "Summer of Code" program. AWESOME!!

Oh, btw, since a coupla dependencies got upgraded, if you like building your own Pidgin snapshot in Cygwin, you should definitely run SimGuy's Pidgin Build Environment Fetcher.

It's nice to be on vacation, and even nicer to have some net to crawl in....I've been watching some streaming episodes of the Cowboy Bebop anime serie....quite a nice one, if you ask me.
Another thing I've been doing is playing Night into Dreams, a fascinating vg made for Sega Saturn. You can easily emulate it using SSF emulator, then you can get a Saturn bios HERE, and get the game ROM @ Emuparadise. (Just to show you I haven't ben sleeping all day.... )

I'm not dead, yet! I'm just enjoying a little vacation. And, while I'm out of town, I took the opportunity to test BackTrack Linux 3: a marvellour Distro with all the tools you need to hack through your neighbour's wireless. And, since I'm writing you from my "vacation home" where I got no adsl, just you trust me: it works...

It's already famous on the web: Alrugo Entertainment's "Italian Spiderman" movie is a "must-see" on youtube. Check it out: is funny as hell! (Pity it describes Italians at their worst, still....let's say we got a strong sense of humor, eh! )

Yesterday, my pc got infected by XP Antivirus 2008. Despite its name, this parasite really cause nuisance to your system.....fortunately enough, since I'm using Firefox, my internet browsing wasn't affected, so I could easily reach the above page and take the required steps to manually remove this scum. Funny thing is it bundled with another scam: a sort of autoloading screensaver deactivating my desktop theme + some of my rightclick/properties functions (the ones related to screensavers and themes, obviously ): a simple browsing to windows/system32 folder took me to find it, its name unmistakeably too complicated to be a real screensaver (something like "rrtglsng0s" is bound to catch your attention, sooner or later).
Of course, so much for my personal protection, Kaspersky let it in, since it didn't show as a virus.... bah!
Hey, guess what? Seems like ePSXe, the best Playstation emulator ever, recently reached version 1.7.0, after years of inactivity! Awesome!!
